Permanent state epidemiologist delays

Lindblom was appointed in March this year as Anders Tegnell’s successor while a recruitment process is underway for a long-term solution.

The service was initially only supposed to extend until June 30, but was extended quite quickly until the turn of the year. But now the authority writes in one press release that Lindblom will remain until 30 June 2023.
