Accused of leaving the field open to disinformation on Covid-19 in its podcasts, the Swedish audio streaming giant Spotify announced measures on Sunday January 30 to try to respond to the growing controversy after a boycott movement launched by the legend of the folk rock Neil Young.

An online movement to unsubscribe from the platform had been followed on social networks by several personalities and artists. The new hit niche puts streaming platforms in the face of new responsibilities on misinformation, like social networks like Facebook.
