Two people have been taken by ambulance to hospital after a head-on collision between two passenger cars in Gothenburg on Friday morning.
– One of the drivers is considered to be seriously injured, says police spokesperson Hans-Jörgen Ostler.
The accident happened at a quarter to seven on Grusåsvägen. According to the police, both vehicles sustained extensive damage. One driver was unconscious when the rescue work began.
Police, ambulance and rescue services were still at the scene at 07.15, and access along the road is limited.
No other people than the two drivers were involved in the accident. According to the police, it is still unclear what caused the collision.
