SJ will pay compensation to customers affected by the recent ticket problems, the company told TV4 Nyheterna.
The refund amounts to what has been paid over SEK 395 per ticket for travel with SJ Regional and SJ Intercity, over SEK 495 per ticket for travel with SJ Snabbtåg in second class and second class quiet, and over SEK 895 per ticket for travel with SJ Snabbtåg in first class.
The refund will start to be paid starting next week.
– You can sit quietly in the boat, this will happen automatically before Christmas, said Monica Lindegård, CEO of SJ.

For trips with SJ Regional and SJ InterCity, the sum over SEK 395 per ticket is reimbursed.
For trips with SJ Snabbtåg in 2nd class and 2nd class Lugn, the sum over SEK 495 per ticket is reimbursed.
For journeys with SJ Snabbtåg in 1st class, the sum over SEK 895 per ticket is reimbursed.
The price of SJ night trains has not been affected by the technical problems of the last few days.
The above information applies to all tickets regardless of flexibility for travel with SJ during the period 11 December 2022-12 March 2023, purchased during 9 and 10 November 2022.
