Throughout the next 24 hours, the electricity price will land on average at a super-low two öre per kilowatt-hour throughout the country, according to pricing on the Nord Pool electricity exchange.

The reason is a strong wind blowing in over Sweden, but wind production from Denmark and Germany also contributes.

As a comparison, electricity cost an average of 41 öre/kWh throughout the country during the 24-hour period on Thursday.

On top of the prices at Nord Pool, the electricity trading companies’ surcharges, taxes and VAT plus network fee are added.
