Deprived of midfielders Paul Pogba and N’Golo Kante, both packages due to injuries, Didier Deschamps will rely in Qatar on his captain Hugo Lloris, defender Raphaël Varane and his stars in attack, Karim Benzema, Antoine Griezmann and Kylian Mbappé .
Deschamps, captain of the Blues crowned in 1998 and coach of those who won in 2018, will try to do what no selection has done for 60 years: retain the world title.
