Most of the time, customers just put what they want to buy on the conveyor belt and then that’s it – they pay and leave.
But in some cases it happens that customers are noticeably embarrassed when they have to pay. The reason? A certain one seems to be perceived as embarrassing to buy.
– I really don’t care what people buy, but it’s noticeable that some still think it’s shameful, says Oliviawho works at an Ica store in southern Sweden and is actually called something else, to News24.

So what is it that makes some customers blush?
– There are quite a few who seem to think that it is a bit embarrassing to buy toilet paper and sometimes also tampons or pads, but above all toilet paper, says Olivia and continues further:
– It becomes particularly clear when people, and it is actually often men, who have to make a little joke about the whole thing. Roughly: “yes, now you can see what I’m going to do at home, hehehe”.
