In a statement from PEMRA, it was stated that Khan’s speeches and press conferences were banned from broadcasting on all satellite channels. In the statement, it was emphasized that Khan’s speeches slandered with unfounded allegations such as assassination planning by state institutions, and pointed out that the publication of these contents could disrupt public order and create hatred among the public.
The statement pointed out that Imran Khan’s statements violated many laws and stated that the licenses of television channels that do not comply with the decision may be suspended.
On August 21, PEMRA banned Khan’s speeches from being broadcast live on television, on the grounds that he “threatening state institutions and officials”.
IMRAN KHAN GOVERNMENT FALL IN APRIL
In Pakistan, Imran Khan’s government fell with 174 “no” votes in a vote of no confidence in the parliament on April 10.
Shahbaz Sharif, brother of Nawaz Sharif, who served as prime minister for three terms in the country, was elected prime minister with the support of the absolute majority with 174 votes in the election held in the parliament on 11 April.
HAN IS ATTACKED
Khan started a march from Lahore to Islamabad on October 28, on the grounds that the coalition government did not declare early elections.
Khan was wounded in both legs when his convoy was fired upon in Wazirabad on 3 November. In the armed attack, 4 bullets hit Han’s foot. One person was killed and 13 people were injured in the attack.
THE ARMY CAME TO CONDEMNATION
PTI leader Khan, in a statement to the press members at the hospital where he was being treated in Lahore yesterday, stated that he received information that there was an assassination plan against him the day before he left for Wazirabad, “Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Minister of Interior Rana Sanaullah and Inter-Services Intelligence. I learned that (ISI) Vice President Major General Faisal Nasir had a plan.” he had spoken.
Han stated that when he started a march to Islamabad, he saw the intense participation of these people and that for this reason, he was wanted to be killed.
