Do you play Destiny 2? Then you should know Xur. He is the NPC vendor that helps players complete their Exotic collection faster. But only if you know where to find it. That’s why MeinMMO hunts Xur every Friday and tells you what you can get from him.
What happened in Destiny 2 this week? Things are getting quieter in Destiny 2, because the current Season 18 has almost exhausted its potential.
The free Halloween event is still running, but that too will end next Tuesday. If you are still missing sweets or masks, the coming days are your last chance. And those who still need improvement cores or bright dust will be well supplied with them at the event.
Additionally, two Bungie employees have hosted a podcast to talk about weapons, craftable weapon raid vendors, and craftable exotics. And even the magic words “Weapons of the Black Armory” have fallen.
The question of the best DLC in Destiny 2 is now answered differently. Because the former top DLC “Forsaken” from 2018 simply lacks the tough challenge. However, the new DLC top favorite of the players offers that and puts it at the top of the DLC hit list.
Another tip for PS5 players: It could be that PS4 players are not taking full advantage of Destiny 2’s potential. Bungie explicitly pointed this out in the current “This Week at Bungie” blog and showed a to-do on how you can change that.
All information about Xur on November 04, 2022 – PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Google Stadia
When is Xur coming? The Exotic Vendor visits Destiny 2 every Friday at 6 p.m. Anyone who still has gaps in their Exo collection then expects it, as it is the easiest way to get Exos. It only costs you a one-way flight and some material as a means of payment.
Where is Xur located? This is his camp for the weekend
The position of Xur: Xur can be found in a different location each week. So you never know exactly where you’ll find him.
Xur is located in the European Dead Zone in the Twisting Bay.
Xur’s inventory from 04.11. – 08.11. – All exotics at a glance
What does Xur offer? As the chosen Exotic vendor of the “Nine,” an ominous group in Destiny 2, Xur ships new weapons and armor to players on their behalf on a weekly basis. All characters, i.e. warlocks, hunters and titans can buy from him. Whether you are new to the game or an experienced Guardian.
Here’s what Xur’s offering looks like this week:
Weapon: The Prospector – Arc Grenade Launcher for 29 Legendary Shards
Titanium: Doomripper Shoulderplate – Void Gauntlets for 23 Legendary Shards
Hunter: Orpheus Rigg – Arc Legguards for 23 Legendary Shards
Warlock: Crown of Storms – Arc Headgear for 23 Legendary Shards
Legendary Armor Set: Xur sells a new armor set every week. This week you can buy the Braytech Armor from Lost Mars.
Xur also sells legendary items and each week offers unique rolls for exotics from obsolete exotic missions from past DLCs. Note, however: You can only buy the weapons if you also have the appropriate extension.
He currently has these two weapons on offer:
The weapons cost: These two Exotics cost 1 Ascendant Fragment, 1 Exotic Code, 125,000 Glimmer, and 200 Legendary Fragments respectively.
Xur always has this with him: You can always get an Exotic Engram for 97 Legendary Shards from Xur, as well as the weekly quest to get an Exotic Code.
Trials of Osiris on 11/04 – 08.11. – Map, weapons and info
The Trials of Osiris is an endgame PvP activity and it takes place every weekend. There is only one exception and that is when the Iron Banner event is active. Otherwise, Bungie replenishes the Saint-14 inventory every weekend with new Trials passes, bounties so you can increase your glory in the PvP endgame.
Which map is it this week? The so-called PvP trials always take place on a fixed map.
This weekend you fight on Bannerfall.
If you are interested in playing the trials in a permanent team, MeinMMO recommends the callout maps via Warmind. This gives your fireteam a good description of where the opponents are on the map, which is useful information for the whole team.
How to get your loot: The Trials of Osiris feature a reputation ranking system. Your top loot reward from PvP matches is currently for:
This is the reward for a flawless run: Every week, a very special weapon awaits you on the lighthouse, which you get as a master version for your flawless run, i.e. 7 victories. You can earn the weapon until next Tuesday, November 8th at 6:00 p.m.
As a reward, there is always an adept weapon waiting for you if you made it safely into the lighthouse.
Aisha’s embrace is waiting for you this week. So strike again because the Void Scout Rifle will be leaving the game in Season 19.
All Trials weapons have a Trials origin perk: Haste – Improves reload, stability, aim assist, and range when you’re the last member of your fireteam alive or fighting alone.
You can focus your testing engrams on your desired weapon at the 14th saint. On top there are Enhancement Prisms and Ascendant Fragments. Keep in mind that once you have a complete pass, your reward increases even more – even if you lose a game or two.
When do the trials officially start? The Trials of Osiris begins today, November 4th at 6:00 p.m. and ends with the Weekly Reset, November 8th at 6:00 p.m.
So what are you up to this weekend? Are you still farming some candy, or do you prefer to sweat off those extra calories in the PvP endgame with the new pistol meta? Write it to us in the comments.
