Chamber prosecutor Karolin Hellsberg says in a press release that a number of investigative measures have been carried out, but that at the moment these have not strengthened the suspicions against the persons.
– I have no reason to ask for the persons to be detained, says District Attorney Karolin Hellsberg, who is also leading the preliminary investigation.
However, the police stress that the people are still suspected of involvement in the murder, even though they are no longer under arrest.
– The investigative work has gone on at high speed and will continue at the same pace, regardless of the fact that the suspects have now been released, says Lars Jansson, local police area manager in Västerås.
