Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi accuses Russia of energy terrorism in his nightly speech. Just last night, millions of Ukrainians were without power, after Russia’s attacks on infrastructure, the president says.
– Since tonight, a temporary suspension from the ability to consume and shop has affected 4.5 million consumers, in accordance with our stabilization efforts in emergency situations. Russian attacks on our energy sector and on our facilities, do not stop for a single day. Kryvyi Rih was attacked by Iranian drones last night. This Russian terror must receive – and certainly will receive – a powerful global response. I thank our friends in the United States who support us, he says in the speech.
