The new update 1.08 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is online and it weighs up to 40 GB on Xbox. All information about the download and the previously known patch notes can be found on MeinMMO.
The release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was very successful, but not without problems. The developers fix the technical stress step by step, also with the latest update 1.08.
For example, the weapon tuning that caused crashes has returned. However, the full patch notes will come later.

When is the update coming? The patch is already online.
How big is the update? It’s very different this time around and Xbox players in particular are reporting very large download files.
While PlayStation players report a few 100MB, some Xboxers have to download up to 50GB.
If you want to gamble tonight, start the download during the day if you have the chance.
What’s in the update? There are no official patch notes yet, but developer Infinity Ward has confirmed that weapon tuning is back in the game.
There were also updates on the developers’ Trello board – here those responsible collect known errors and fixes that they are working on. The following has been fixed:

There is currently no indication as to why the update is taking on such huge proportions for some Xbox players. At the moment we can only wait for the patch notes.
