Announced last summer, the remake of Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened (Sherlock Holmes: The Night of the Sacrifices with us) offers a gameplay video via IGN. For those who have already forgotten, we remind you that the famous detective will have to deal with the myth of Cthulhu and will have to investigate strange disappearances that have taken place in the United States and Europe. Renowned for his rational mind, the inspector will be confronted this time with a supernatural entity which will take him to the edge of madness.
Thanks to the Unreal Engine, the Ukrainian developers of Frogwares announce that they have given a second life to the different places visited by Sherlock Holmes such as the famous Baker Street in London, the dismal psychiatric institute in Switzerland, or even the dangerous swamps of Louisiana. In terms of content, the game claims to expand the story of the original version (2006), including new side quests. Finally, on the gameplay side, the studio thought of introducing new mechanics, including that of madness.
The release of the remake of Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened is scheduled for February 2023 on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch.
