Columbus Blue Jackets’ Finnish star Patrik Laine also got to visit his home when Columbus arrived in Finland to play NHL matches against Colorado.
Columbus Blue Jackets’ Finnish forward Patrik Laine was able to visit his home when the club team arrived to play in Laine’s hometown of Tampere.
– It’s pretty cool that you can be in your home country of Finland and share it with those top guys, who are full of the booth. Most of them have never been to Finland, it’s nice to see and hear what they like. I hope it’s not completely fucked up, Laine chatted.
The last time Laine played in the NHL in Finland was four years ago, then in the ranks of Winnipeg. Laine scored a hat trick when the Jets beat Florida 4–2 in Helsinki.
– The last time it was good that I had time to go to the bathroom, when I was in a terrible rush all the time. Now it’s time to enjoy the trip itself, Laine commented.
