What is the case about?
Dozens of residents living in the vicinity of the place where a reception ship should dock on Friday, are going to court this morning. They object to the intended berth in the Merwedekanaal on the Vreeswijksestraatweg, right next to their apartment complex.
What do they screen with? A berth ban applies at the place where the ship would moor. The municipality has received an exemption to leave the ship there after all, but according to residents this is unjustified. The judge will now consider this issue.
