New research has made it possible to smell scents in a VR environment. The project is a collaboration between Stockholm and Malmö universities. To test their olfactometer, as the invention is called, the researchers have built a virtual wine tasting game. There you have to guess the different aromas of wine in a virtual wine cellar.
