79 women take their seats in the Danish parliament after Tuesday’s election. At 44 percent, it is the highest percentage so far in the Danish parliament, dr.dk reports.
The two who received the most personal ticks in this year’s election are also women; Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen (S) followed by Inger Støjberg of the Danish Democrats, ahead of Lars Løkke Rasmussen of the Moderates.
Several political profiles failed to get into the Norwegian Parliament, including Foreign Minister Jeppe Kofod. Nor the former ministers Rasmus Helveg Petersen (Radical Left) and Eva Kjer Hansen (Venstre).
