Three to five meter deep craters and blown pipe parts have been discovered during investigations of the damaged Nord Stream gas pipelines.

According to a press release from the ownership consortium Nord Stream AG, preliminary results have shown that there are two craters caused by human-made technology, 248 meters apart.

It was in September that detonations occurred along Nord Stream’s gas pipelines, shortly afterwards four large releases of gas were discovered in the Swedish economic zone.
