A leak shared yesterday, the upcoming entry-level Oppo A58He suggested that it will have a 50MP main and 108MP main camera, which we suspect may be a typo. Today the device was listed on China Telecom and it turned out that the second camera is a basic 2MP depth lens. The main camera, on the other hand, seems 50 MP closer, as we do not expect a 108 MP camera from an entry-level phone.
Oppo A58 with model number PHJ110 has a 6.56” LCD display with 720p resolution. Behind the waterdrop notch is an 8MP selfie camera. It looks like this phone will work with the Dimensity 700 and have a 5,000mAh battery – all of that Oppo A17but the biggest change is the convenient fast charging support at 33W over USB-C.
Other features include dual SIM slots, 3.5mm audio jacks, two RAMs and two storage options combined into three combinations. The price of the Oppo A58 can start at CNY 1,399 (about $192) – China Telecom usually uses good pricing for unreleased phones.
Regarding the release, reports are that this phone will launch on 11.11 or just in time for the shopping holiday Singles’ Day on November 11.
