The new government is making the legislation stricter than its predecessor. Melon’s government proposes prison sentences of between three and six years for the organizers of the raves. In addition, the organizers are threatened with fines and confiscation of sound systems.
Opponents of the new law have criticized the government for not being a responsive dictator Benito Mussolini to a fascist march organized by supporters over the weekend, which was attended by 2,000 people.
The rave party organized in Modena ended peacefully on Monday, when the police and the revelers decided by consensus to end the party.
