The big new chapter High Isle from the year of “Legacy of the Bretons” has long been on the servers and dedicated ESO fans have already extensively explored the High Isle and the rest of the Systren archipelago. Along the way, you’ve met both grisly villains and lovable allies.
You have faced the dangers of the jungle, fought fierce pirates and challenged the druids of the Firesong Coven. But are you ready for the ultimate test of your knowledge?
Things to know about ESO and High Isle
What mysteries are there to unravel on the islands? The Systren Islands in High Isle are a mysterious place that is little explored. But at first glance, on High Island you could almost think you were actually on High Rock, because the port of Gonfalon with the statue of the legendary Baron-Admiral Bendu Olo shows the way to ships arriving from afar.
It was also the famous admiral who, long ago, commanded the fleet of all ensigns and sailed south from High Island. His destination was the Thras archipelago, where dark creatures dwelt. They in turn were responsible for a terrible epidemic and the fleet cleaned them up thoroughly in revenge.
But there are also less glorious stories about High Island and its inhabitants. For a long time ago, cruel tyrants ruled over the island and its monuments, such as the gloomy tower of the crimson coin, still remind us of the reign of terror that once began with Lady Martinne Guimard.

But High Island and its proud castles and palaces are only part of the Systren archipelago. There is also the neighboring island of Amenos, where convicts lead a meager life and a cruel jungle devours anyone who dares to escape. But there are other islands further out to sea, including the fiery volcanic island of Y’ffelon, home to a hostile coven of druids.
But you don’t have to explore these dangerous islands alone. ESO is an MMORPG and there are always other players who will go on adventures with you. But if you prefer to play without other people, then the new companions are ideal companions. Among them is the lovable and chaotic Khajiit magician Funke. But if you want her to like you, don’t pull out a fishing rod!
