A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murdering a man in Nässjö, several local media write.
The police were called to a residence in Nässjö at lunchtime on Monday, and then found both the man and the woman injured. Both were taken to hospital, but the man’s life could not be saved. The woman, who had injuries from a sharp object, was not seriously injured.
The police carried out a forensic investigation at the scene, where part of the work involved ruling out the involvement of third parties, according to the police.
The woman was later arrested.
– We are currently considering the incident as murder, but there is a lot of uncertainty so the crime classification may change. The woman is still being treated in hospital, says Erik Creutz, duty officer at the police, to SVT Jönköping.
