Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that during the trilateral meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, they could not reach an agreement on all issues, but they managed to reach an agreement on basic issues and they accepted the joint declaration.

Thanking Aliyev and Pashinyan for coming to Sochi, Putin stated that they will continue the dialogue and seek solutions necessary to end the long-standing conflict.
