Henry Cavill has turned his back on The Witcher. The star, who has repeatedly described his Netflix role as a dream and is considered a big fan of Andrzej Sapkowski’s book, doesn’t want to return for season 4. Some fans suspect new Superman commitments behind the exit. More likely, however, is a creative decision by the creators of the series, which has long frustrated him.

    A rare glimpse into the inner workings of the Netflix series was recently given by Beau DeMayo (Moon Knight), who worked on The Witcher as part of the writing team. The Direct quotes from an Instagram discussion:
