The bomb in Laröd outside Helsingborg during the night of Sunday was a targeted assassination attempt – and one person has been arrested, HD reports.
The prosecutor classifies the case as attempted murder and gross destruction of public property.
The powerful detonation, which was heard several kilometers away, blew up a car and also damaged houses and other cars. The completely destroyed car was parked next to a residence, and the explosion also damaged the property and several other cars. Several people were in the nearby house at the time, but no one was injured.
During the autumn, there have been a series of bombings in the Helsingborg area. Among other things, there was a powerful detonation at a company in the Ramlösa district on October 23.
On September 21, two explosions occurred, one in Åstorp and one in Helsingborg. In the explosion in Åstorp, one person was seriously injured. Detonations also occurred in Helsingborg on 6 and 16 September.
