Chatham-Kent police report the roadway at the intersection of Kent Bridge Road and Fairview Line has reopened following a motor vehicle collision reported just before 7 am
There was no information immediately available on injuries or number of victims.
The road reopened around 1 pm
The Chatham Daily News went to the scene after seeing two air ambulance helicopters arrive and leave from the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.
A passenger van was pulled from a deep ditch at the end of Fairview Line.
