Valtteri Bottas believes that the Audi collaboration will be visible soon: “I’m sure there will be a fix for that very soon”
This week it was reported that Audi will buy part of Sauber and join the F1 series in the 2026 season.
Sauber has cooperated with Alfa Romeo in recent years. The cooperation ends after the 2023 season.
According to Valtteri Bottas, Sauber’s cooperation with Audi is really positive news for the team.
– It’s really positive that Audi will become a partner in the team and that 2026 will also take a big role in the team as a name. Certainly, Sauber and Audi can do a lot of cooperation. That cooperation will probably start quite soon. I believe that with those resources the team can achieve a lot, Bottas commented to Viaplay.
Bottas believes that the contract will bring a lot of motivation and know-how.
– And of course the budget. At the moment, we still have a small shortage of people at the factory, especially on the production side, where parts are made. That will probably be fixed very soon, Bottas believes.
