In addition to being an experienced computer user, it is good to have a great interest in history and social studies. And of course cheeky gaming aliases. So when Mattias McMullin from Malmö and his two foreign game friends received the big gold-red trophy and the prize money of 20,000 euros, it was the team “Speed Plonkers” with “Maccem” (Mattias), “Kodiak” (from Germany) and “Blinky” (from France) who received the audience’s applause.
– Now in Paris, at the competition, was the very first time we met in real life. We have known each other and played for about six months, says Mattias McMullin.

When you have to locate yourself in a new area and find out which city or country it is in, Mattias has some tips.
– In order to become a good player, it is good to be able to see and assess street signs, road markings, reflective posts and license plates that can be found on signs inside different cities, says Mattias McMullin, newly crowned team world champion.
