The Ministry of Education in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia, was attacked with two bomb-laden vehicles. While the walls of the Ministry were damaged, the windows of some buildings were also broken. Police and ambulance were dispatched to the area.

The second attack took place while the medical teams and the people around were gathered at the scene to help the injured in the attack.
In the videos shared on social media, dense smoke was seen rising from the area.

National Police Spokesperson Sadiq Dodishe said there were “many civilian casualties” following the two attacks at a busy intersection near government offices.

Police officer İbrahim Mohamed also said that a bomb-laden vehicle was driven to the ministry campus and then there was the sound of a gunshot, and said, “In a few minutes, another explosion occurred in the same area.”
While no one has claimed responsibility for the attack, it is not yet known whether there were any casualties or how many people were injured in both explosions.
