On Saturday morning, the police stopped a planned fire attack against Iran’s embassy on Lidingö, in Stockholm, according to TV4 Nyhetern’s information. One is arrested on suspicion of preparation for arson.
The man was stopped right at the embassy and a technical examination is to be carried out, according to the information.
The police confirm that they have arrested a man outside an embassy on Lidingö but do not want to say which one.
– He had a suspected flammable liquid on him, says Per Fahlström, press spokesperson at the Stockholm Region Police.
