Under the auspices of the Turkish Embassy in Warsaw, the 99th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey was celebrated with a reception held in Poland. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland Pawel Jablonski, as well as mission chiefs and representatives of many countries, and executives of Turkish and Polish non-governmental organizations attended the reception.

In the program that started with the singing of the national anthems, Turkish Ambassador to Warsaw Cengiz Kamil Fırat talked about the importance of the relations between Turkey and Poland, which have a history of 600 years, and talked about the contribution of this cooperation to regional peace.

The songs sung in Turkish by the choir composed of Turks and Poles within the body of Warsaw Yunus Emre Enstitüsü became another part of the event. Turkish songs performed by the choir made the guests happy.

Warsaw Yunus Emre Enstitüsü (YEE) Coordinator Abdüssamed Bilgili expressed his pleasure as an institute to contribute to the program where Turkish and Polish guests participated in such a national day.

On the special night celebrating the Republic Day, the Turkish folklore group as well as the Karaim Dance Group took the stage in their local costumes.

After the cake cut to commemorate the 99th anniversary of the founding of the Turkish Republic, the guests had the opportunity to taste the rich Turkish cuisine.
