It is an unmissable event in October for Tour de France fans. While the cycling season has ended, the different routes of the Grand Tours have been unveiled for a few weeks. After the presentation of the Giro, it’s the turn of the Grande Boucle to unveil itself this Thursday, October 27, 2022.
In a fairly festive, but also solemn atmosphere, Christian Prudhomme unveiled one by one the 21 stages of the Tour de France 2023 with a particular focus on the Grand Départ of the Tour, in Bilbao, in the Basque Country. The 2023 Tour de France riders will spend three days there before returning to France. Here is the detail of the 21 steps:
- Saturday 1 July – Stage 1: Bilbao – Bilbao, 182 km
- Sunday July 2 – Stage 2: Vitoria-Gasteiz – San Sebastian, 209 km
- Monday July 3 – Stage 3: Amorebieta-Etxano – Bayonne, 185 km
