Zlatan Ibrahimovic has a long and fine football career behind him.
But the big question is what the 41-year-old will do after his playing career.
Now he himself may have hinted at what he wants to do here next.
He has been playing football for five different decades now. Zlatan Ibrahimovic already started as a kid in the late 80s and after a few neighborhood clubs he came to the city’s pride Malmö FF in the 90s.
Zlatan’s career
In the early 2000s, he then became Sweden’s most expensive player sale to date when he left the country for a record sum and moved to the Netherlands for the big club Ajax. Since then, there have been noble big clubs in the form of Juventus, Inter, Barcelona, Milan, PSG and Manchester United.

After reaping great success in the 2010s, he is now in the 2020s and still playing. As recently as last spring, the star Swede contributed to Milan once again winning Serie A and currently Zlatan has no plans to retire.

Ibra’s future
At 41 years old, he is recovering from a knee injury and the goal is to continue playing this spring. But the big question is what happens next – after the end of the playing career?

Because whether he likes it or not, that day is getting closer. In addition to football, he is very current with both a film role in “Asterix & Obelix”, an upcoming TV series and a lot of advertising assignments.
“New job?”
He has previously written books, had his own clothing brand, created perfumes and put his name on many other products. But now he is opening up about a possible future in football after putting his football boots on the famous shelf.

On his own TikTok page, Zlatan has posted a video of himself in which he clearly gestures to his teammates in Milan how he wants them to act tactically. And possibly we will find the answer to “Ibra’s” future here – as a football coach.
