[Mis à jour le 28 octobre 2022 à 9h44] As the contest of theEurovision Junior 2022, the French delegation and France Télévisions have announced the identity of the French singer in the European competition. This is Lissandro, a 13-year-old young singer. If his first name and his face tell you something, don’t worry, it’s completely normal because Lissandro was revealed on the show The Voice Kids in 2020 and qualified to the final! Today, he is launching a new challenge by agreeing to participate in Eurovision Junior 2022. And after Valentina’s victory in 2020 and a 3rd place for Enzo in 2021, we can imagine that a certain pressure weighs on his shoulders to do as well or even better!
Eurovision Junior 2022 is being held in Armenia this year after the victory of young Maléna Fox last year. It is therefore live from Yerevan that we will hear Lissandro sing on December 11 from 4 p.m. on France 2. He will sing the title “Oh Maman!” revealed at the same time as the announcement of its participation in the European competition (we invite you to listen to the song below). “What pride to join the wonderful family of Eurovision. I will do my best to shine the colors of France” said Lissandro the day of the announcement of his participation in Eurovision Junior.

The ranking of the last edition of Eurovision Junior
The classification of Eurovision Junior 2022 is not yet known. We therefore suggest that you find the winners of last year’s competition. After Valentina’s victory last year, all hopes were high for a historic double for France during Eurovision 2021. With his song “Tic Tac”, Enzo could in any case believe in his chances. With 224 points received from voters, it was the candidate from Armenia, Maléna, who emerged as the big winner of Eurovision 2021. Following her, the Polish candidate, Sara James, finished second with 218 points while Enzo, the representative of France, comes third with a total of 187 points.
It should be noted that Enzo had received the majority of votes from the professional jury. It was the public vote that allowed Maléna and Sara James to overtake it. However, Enzo takes this observation as a victory in itself. “I was very stressed. It was great to see that the professional jury put me in first place. In my heart I know that I won.” Anyway, Enzo does not have to be ashamed of his performance at Eurovision Junior 2021. “I was very proud to represent France”.
