Enel Cuote supports the CRI per il Sociale project

(Finance) – The new project was presented today in Rome “CRI for the Social” at the national headquarters of the Italian Red Cross (CRI) from Francesco RoccaPresident of the CRI, e Michele CrisostomoPresident of Is in the and Enel Cuore Onluswith the aim of improving the quality of life of the people most exposed to the health and socio-economic consequences of the historical period we are experiencing and to support the most vulnerable groups, such as families and young people in conditions of social fragility, the elderly, without fixed dwelling and those who live in conditions of extreme marginality and poverty.

The initiative led to the opening of 100 new Social Helpdesks in the regions of Central-Southern Italy and al upgrade of 5 Street Unitsin Bari, Cagliari, Naples, Palermo and Rome.

The initiative, created by the Italian Red Cross with the support of Enel Cuore, the non-profit organization of the Enel Group, is an integral part of the program “The Time of Kindness ” of the CRI, a set of actions aimed at improving the physical and psychological well-being of those most in need.

Interventions carried out in collaboration with Third Sector organizations, divided into four areas: culture and education of children and adolescents, job placement and social inclusion of people with frailty, autonomy paths for people with disabilities, fight against social poverty and protection of health of the elderly.
