Social Democrats’ party leader Magdalena Andersson criticizes the government and the Sweden Democrats after the proposal that a high-cost protection for high electricity prices be introduced in southern and central Sweden.
Andersson says that the promise that support would be in place on November 1 has not been kept and that it was an unrealistic promise. She says that neither the date nor the announcement was given during Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson’s press conference earlier in the day.
– It is surprising that you so flagrantly break your own clear promises, she says at a press conference.
– You shouldn’t promise things you can’t keep, it erodes trust in politics as a whole.
