The unrest broke out in Easter when the far-right politician Rasmus Paludan, who has become famous for his Koran burnings, visited – or planned to visit – Örebro, Linköping, Norrköping, Landskrona, Malmö and the Stockholm suburb of Rinkeby. It was followed by violent riots with vandalism and violence mainly directed at the police.
Earlier, a 17-year-old boy was charged with violent riot in connection with the riot in Landskrona.
