The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced on Wednesday (October 26th) the reopening of the bidding process for the organization of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. Guinea has recently been withdrawn from the organization. According to CAF, all Member Associations have received an invitation to express their interest in hosting AFCON 2025, along with details of the process for selecting the host country(ies). The deadline for submitting the expression of interest form is November 11. November 16 will be the deadline for CAF to send the application documents to the member associations that have expressed their interest. The deadline for submission of the final offer for member associations, including all application and organizational documents (organizational agreement, agreement with host cities, government guarantees) is 16 December. After inspection visits scheduled for next January, the designation of the host country will take place on February 10, 2023.
