(Finance) – UniCredit it successfully completed two transactions aimed at rationalizing the investments with CNP Assurances: sale to CNP Assurances of the entire 49% stake in CNP Vita Assicura for 500 million euros; purchase from CNP Assurances of a 6.5% stake in CNP UniCredit Vita for 70 million euros.
UniCredit’s stake therefore goes from 38.8% to 45.3% while CNP Assurances maintains a majority stake of 51%.
The two transactions will produce a positive impact of approximately 8 basis points on the CET1 coefficient in the fourth quarter of 2022 (with reference to the data at 30 September 2022) and of approximately 195 million euros on net profit.
