Brantford police seek publics help finding missing girl

Brantford police are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing 13-year-old girl.

Police said Tuesday that Payton Mason was last seen by her family at 1 pm on Monday.

She is five-foot-nine, 150 pounds with curly brown hair.

She was last seen carrying a gray Puma brand backpack and wearing black pants and shoes.

Police said she is known to frequent the following areas: Charlie Ward Park, Darling Street; North Park Collegiate and the Wayne Gretzky Sports Center, North Park Street; a retail plaza at 225 Fairview Dr.; and Banbury / Notre Dame Catholic elementary schools, Brantwood Park Road.

Police said they are concerned for the girl’s well-being.
