In Pokémon GO, the sticker collection will be revised to make it easier for you to sort. Many trainers are impressed by the idea and would like something of the same kind for the item collection.
What is this update? In a blog post, Niantic announced that the sticker feature in Pokémon GO will be upgraded. You get the stickers for spinning PokéStops, for example. When you send gifts to friends, you can attach one of the stickers depicting cute Pokémon or text like “Hi” to the gifts.
With the update, Niantic wants to make this collection clearer. Because there are always new stickers added for many occasions.

This is exactly what is in it: Niantic assigns the stickers to different categories. When browsing the stickers, you can simply select one of the categories such as “New” or “Messages” and you will find the stickers that match these groups.
The new categories are: Featured, New, Messages, Pokémon, Characters, and Miscellaneous.
So choose one of the categories when sending and then swipe up to find more matching content. At “Messages” you will find stickers with texts. A special feature of “Pokémon” is that there are subcategories to narrow down the search even further. These are based on regions such as Kanto or Sinnoh.

Special sticker offer: Most of the stickers previously available in Pokémon GO are available in the shop at a special price. Offer runs from Monday, October 31st at 9:00 p.m. to Wednesday, November 2nd at 9:00 p.m.
“Now do it for the item collection too” – Trainers react
What coaches say: The topic of the sticker revamp is being discussed on reddit. Many Trainers are happy about this and agree: While it is a small update, we are happy that something is happening.
Others express specific wishes, such as user DivineCapybara: “Now do this for the item collection”. Another trainer replies that Niantic is probably already planning this and that the sorting function for the stickers could now be a first test in this direction.
Trainer tearable_puns_to_go says, “It’s not the most important feature, but good for whoever at Niantic decided that. Developing a small Quality of Life update and offering almost all stickers are both good decisions.”
