Against Terrifier 2, Halloween Ends and Co. can pack up. The horror film, which is relatively unknown in this country, caused mass nausea and fainting among US audiences due to its level of violence. Now director Damien Leone commented on the reaction to his film and explained the thought behind his ultra gruesome scenes.

Even with the predecessor, I thought: “We have to show things that Hollywood doesn’t dare to do.” It was our duty [mit dem Sequel] to get there again. It was nerve wracking. You can only divide a person in a limited way. But we had set ourselves the highest goals. There are three times as many deaths and a lot of really intense sequences.
Terrifier 2 centers on the murderous clown Art (David Howard Thornton) who uses all his cruel ingenuity to target a pair of twins (Lauren LaVera and Elliott Fullam). The predecessor is already considered a horror cult, which among other things thanks to an infamous scene involving a hacksaw has become known.
When will the horror shocker Terrifier 2 come to Germany?
If and when Terrifier 2 will appear in this country is not yet certain. Due to the depiction of violence in the scenes, the film could be indexed in Germany and, as a consequence, only bring in minimal amounts of money. If that doesn’t bother the makers and distributors, the horror hit could come to Germany on Blu-ray within the next few months.
