On Tuesday, Rishi Sunak gave a speech as Britain’s new Prime Minister outside 10 Downing Street in London. Earlier in the morning, met King Charles III at Buckingham Palace to formally take over the title.
Sunak began his speech by pointing out that Britain is facing a deep economic crisis – and that work to solve the problems begins immediately.
– This means that difficult decisions await, he says.
Rishi Sunak is the third leader of the Tory party and the country’s third prime minister in the space of just a few months, following the resignations of both Boris Johnson and Liz Truss.
