(Finance) – The futures on the Wall Street indices travel downwards anticipating a negative start for the American market in about half an hour.
Markets are pricing in a more aggressive Federal Reserve in its fight against inflation. The next meeting of the FOMC, the monetary policy arm of the Fed led by Jerome Powell, is scheduled for November 1-2.
Meanwhile, the contract on the Dow Jones marks a decrease of 0.76% to 30,104 points and that on the S&P 500 of 0.74% to 3,637.50 points, while the Future on the Nasdaq drops 1.15% to 10,917.20 points .
