(Finance) – Pope Francis received a delegation of Tenderstories, film production house, for the Kordon movie (Border), the documentary presented at the Maxxi museum, during the seventeenth edition of the Rome Film Fest 2022, directed by Alice Tomassini and produced by Vatican Media and Tenderstories.
Kordon tells the story of five Ukrainian volunteers, who are in a station on the outskirts of Zahony, and who are fighting a non-violent war, shuttling between Ukraine and Hungary to restore hope to a people under attack. An exciting portrait of female resistance, courage and solidarity.
For the occasion Moreno Zanifounder of Tenderstories, Malcom Pagani, CEO of the company, Benedetta Cuzzeri And Attilio Lombardi of the board of directors, Massimo Leonardelli of External Relations e Alice Tomassini, director of the film, together with Paolo Ruffini, Prefect of the Dicastery for Communication of the Holy See, delivered the documentary, a letter of thanks from Tenderstories and a book containing the stories of volunteering told in the feature film to the Holy Father. Stories that are reflected in those of the over seven million women and children who fled the war, crossing a line as invisible as it is concrete as the border between two states, leaving their lives behind.
