Explosions in several Ukrainian cities

In the morning, aircraft alarms began to sound over Ukraine.

Explosions have been reported from Kyiv, Nikopol and Rivne, among others.

Reports have come in of explosions overnight in several Ukrainian cities, including Kyiv, Nikopol and Rivne, Lviv and Odessa.

In Nikopol, more than 20 buildings and several gas pipelines are said to have been damaged. Russian forces reportedly used heavy artillery, reports say Kyiv Independent and over 1000 families will be without electricity.

Aircraft alarms sound all over Ukraine, except in Crimea.

The attacks have been confirmed by the Ukrainian government and described as massive. They have hit critical infrastructure across Ukraine this morning.
