A man is suspected of two murders in Skåne earlier this year. He was arrested on Thursday for having shot a man in Hörby in February. On Friday, he was also arrested for a murder in Helsingborg, P4 Malmöhus tells.
The Hörby murder took place in a parking lot behind a shop in the middle of the community. A 50-year-old man was shot dead late in the evening. Two masked people fled the scene of the murder each on a bicycle.
A 25-year-old man has now been arrested and detained for the crime. The same man has been arrested for a fatal shooting in a residential area in Helsingborg. That murder happened in August.
HD and Sydsvenskan learn that a response from the National Forensic Center played a certain role when the police decided to arrest the man.
– It is not a single piece of information or event that makes him a suspect, but it is based on an overall picture of the information we have received, says Tenny Svensson of the police’s department for serious crimes, to Sydsvenskan.
Arrest hearings are held over the weekend.
