This is what happens in the Black Adam post-credits scene
+FINAL SPOILER WARNING+
The short answer to the most pressing question first: Yes, Henry Cavill does appear in his signature Superman role in Black Adam. His brief return can be seen in the blockbuster’s end credits scene. In order to explain the appearance, we also have to go into the Black Adam finale.
Here, Dwayne Johnson’s anti-hero is left behind in the town of Kahndaq after victoriously defeating the demonic villain Sabbac. Then the post-credits scene begins, in which the title character Visit from Viola Davis’ ruthless government official Amanda Waller via a drone screen. She explains to Black Adam that Kahndaq is now the prison he is not allowed to move out of.
Black Adam, of course, rebels and challenges Waller that she can send any power against him. She then explains that not only forces from this earth are meant. Behind the drone screen then Henry Cavill slowly walks into the picture as Supermanin the iconic suit and accompanied by John Williams’ classic theme song.
He tells Black Adam it’s been a long time since people so nervous about a single person have been. He should talk to Johnson’s character about that. He aggressively accepts the offer. This ends the end credits scene from Black Adam and the brief appearance of Henry Cavill as Superman.
What’s next for Henry Cavill’s Superman after Black Adam?
