As Tesla’s factory in Shanghai skyrocketed, the company Model 3 and Model Y again shortened delivery wait times for their cars. These are the only two models Tesla currently produces in China.
The expected delivery cycle for the entry-level Model 3 was 6-10 weeks and is now 1-8 weeks, while the twin-engine Performance version is expected to arrive in 1-10 weeks instead of 6-10. Model Y standby time is only 1-4 weeks. The Long Range version is now expected to arrive in 1-10 weeks instead of 10-14 weeks. The same goes for the Model Y Performance.
Pricing remains unchanged as the Model 3 starts at Yuan 279,000 ($39,000) while the Model Y starts at Yuan 316,900 ($45,000).
