The trailer for Street Fighter’s closed beta was featured as part of Capcom’s Tokyo Games Show 2022 presentation. It was also announced in the presentation that the developer focused heavily on the sequel. In addition to the main characters of the series such as Ken, Blanka and E.Honda, four new characters were introduced.
Capcom confirmed at its Street Fighter 6 presentation that the game’s first beta testing will take place next month. Closed beta dates are between October 7 and October 10. Players will be able to sign up on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Steam to participate in the tests. The closed beta will allow players to test Street Fighter 6’s feature-heavy character creation and allow testers to create their own avatars for use in the Battle Hub. However, Capcom will only allow players to create one character for the closed beta testing.

Capcom’s official website will introduce various game modes for the Street Fighter 6 closed beta, which will be available to players over three days. During the closed beta, players will be able to play both regular and ranked matches.
